Situated just an hour’s drive from Geneva, the town of St Gervais has kept a traditional feel despite growing as a ski resort. Its pretty centre boasts gourmet restaurants, cozy cafes, and plenty of shops to wander around after skiing. A project to build a bridge to connect the centre to the ski lift area starts this summer, which will ease movement around the resort. The natural spas in Le Fayet provide the perfect relaxation spot for sore ski muscles.
Skiing in the Evasion Mont Blanc domain is diverse and plentiful, linking St Gervais and Megeve, and a picturesque train ride away from the resort of Les Houches. Tree lined runs and hospitable lunch spots makes for a perfect mountain experience.
Most importantly, St Gervais is a great location for international property investment. The property prices in St Gervais are a good 20% below its prestigious neighbours in Chamonix and Megeve.
